PDR can be an option for EV body-panel damage when the paint and metal are suitable. The goal is to keep the existing finish.
Some dents can be repaired with the wrap in place; others require removal. The wrap, paint and repair method all matter. We’ll discuss yours after a look.
No—not every dent is suitable for PDR. The same types of dents that can be repaired with PDR on a traditional vehicle can also be repaired on an EV. We’ll inspect the damage, paint condition and access to confirm the repair approach.
Yes. Dents directly around the charging port can be more challenging. For example, a dent around the charging port on a Tesla’s quarter panel may have limited tool access. We inspect the area before deciding on the repair approach.
